We can all relax at the fate of Rolf the rolifer, he survived the attack.
He has now DOUBLED in size. He also seems to have several siblings that vary in size.
Streeeetch also has many new friends in the neighborhood.

DR. Macfarland added the food pellet to Doodle. This has sparked enormous changes!
Ciliates have taken over!!!!!!!! There are 100's of them! Whirling madly in circles.
There has been an influx in one of the neighboring ferns. A community of Annelids has moved in and began to rapidly multiply.
They are almost clear but have RED spots all over them. They remind me of transparent fishing worms!!!
There are two different communities. One in the fern and one near the top of Doodle. The one's at the top will stretch out to the top of the water almost like they are trying to get out. Then they pull back as soon as they touch the air. Weird ain't it!!
A lot of the green material in the ferns looks like it has been sucked out!!
You can see the outline of the fern but some of it is empty.
The seed shrimp population is also on the rise. There are many different sizes from very young and small to very large and hungry!!!
Polly Paramecium has all but decimated a leaf and does not seem to be slowing down.
There is a very visible root of the insecterius plant in all of the ferns.
I think the most amazing thing for me is to watch the organism while it is eating. You can see all of their organs moving. The breathing muscles, the muscles moving food through, the sensory organs that scout out food, all of this is clearly seen.
I think it's facinating.
I added a little more water before I left and took one last look at Streeeeetch!
He seemed to be getting a little annoyed with all of the attention.
So I left him alone.
I will see him again tomorrow!
